2014/2015 TOTAL E&P National Merit Scholarship

NNPC/TOTAL hereby invites applications from suitably qualified candidates for its 2013/2014 National Merit Scholarship Awards.

Who Is Qualified To Apply for NNPC/Total Scholarship?
To qualify for consideration applicants MUST be/Show:
  1. Registered FULL TIME undergraduates in recognized Nigerian Universities.
  2. Certified 100/200 level students at the time of application
  3. Proof of SSCE or equivalent certificate
  4. Proof of UME scores, Admission letters & Matriculation numbers
Note: The following categories of students should not apply:
  1. 300 level students and above
  2. Current beneficiaries of similar awards from other companies and agencies

Worth: N150,000 per session


Application Closing Date

All applications for the 2013/2014 NNPC/Total National Merit Undergraduate Scholarship must be submitted not later than30th March, 2014.

Mobil Petrol Station Oba Akran on Fire

Mobil filling at Oba Akran/Ogba Junction, Ikeja in Lagos suffered a fire outbreak early on Wednesday morning, resulting in injury to one person and the burning of at least four vehicles.
The event began at exactly 6:05am as a tanker conveying 33,000 litres of petrol was punctured by an iron while attempting to navigate its way into the filling station.

N/B: Schools and Candidates should note the following:

1. For Physical Education and Auto Mechanics Practical Paper I, French, Music, and Arabic Paper IV, the specific venues for the examinations should be confirmed from NECO Office in the respective state.

2. Practical in the Sciences, Stenography, Computer Studies, and Data Processing should be in sets where the number of candidates is large and equipment cannot go round.

3. VISUAL ART PAPER IV [CREATIVE DESIGN] SHOULD BE GIVEN TO CANDIDATES AT LEAST ONE

WEEK, WHILE WELDING AND FABRICATION, ENGINEERING CRAFT PRACTICE THREE WEEKS TO EXAMINATION DAY.

4. The Nigerian Languages Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba include Literature aspect.

5. BRINGING GSM INTO THE EXAMINATION HALL IS PROHIBITED.

6. Use of scientific calculator is not allowed.

7. The Albinos and blind candidates are to be given 15minutes extra time across all subjects.

Walk into any JAMB offices nationwide or banks approved by JAMB and buy the JAMB change of course and institution scratch card at the rate of N2,000 (two thousand naira only), take it to the nearest internet café, and then follow the steps given at the back of the scratch card.
